The other day Matt and I were sitting at the traffic lights when a woman passed in front of us wearing a pair or gold pants. Matt commented: “Those pants are interesting.”
I had to laugh, as this was a true Man Repeller moment. One where a gal is rocking a new trend that only those who devour street style like a hungry tiger will get. I informed him: “Guuuurl is actually right on trend.”
Metallics are in for the holidays – including on the face. There is something very Christmassy about a wet-look, copper eye-shadow that gleams under the fairy lights of a festive party.
It is a bit hard to see my shadow in the pic above, as it is taken on an iPhone, but this is from a beautiful Tom Ford palette called Honeymoon. I think it might be the most beautiful make-up I’ve ever seen – two of the shadows can be applied with a damp brush for a wet effect. If Tom Ford is a little out of your price range, nearly every counter is doing some form of a metallic for the season – so go get golden. I have included another pic of me at the bottom of this page rocking my inexpensive Chi Chi metallic shadow. I stood in the light from my blinds to try and show off the sheen. Oh la la!
