Yesterday was one of those days. You’ve just got back from the beach, your hair is curly, your skin is a little golden and your mind holds quiet space. I had spent the weekend frolicking in the ocean (running in and then running straight out again), sipping wine, eating candy floss ice cream and collecting sea shells. I was in the best of moods and everything was going my way. The sun was shining, my coffee had kicked in, I was on a post-holiday rainbow cloud.

Then, as I worked on my laptop with my headphones in, the cat vomited on the rug by my foot and I stood in it.

And so here I am, my feet firmly planted back on the earth.

And wearing clean socks…
