Scrutinising the images from the Gucci pre-fall 2016 lookbook gave me tingly feels. I have picked out a few of my favourite shots for you. When you peruse, don’t look with the eye of a girl picking out a weekend outfit. Just enjoy it for what it is – art and costume, fun and excitement.

The fabrics, the colours, the lighting!

Back in the Diana Vreeland days, her world of fashion was about fantasy, dreams and transportation. Sadly, the industry has lost some of this charm in recent years and gets flak for being a big ol’ money-making machine.

So, I was very excited to see the way this shoot had been styled. It is an absolute feast for the eyes. I wish we lived in a world in which girls rocked down the street with such idiosyncratic flair.
