I’m a little obsessed with these sliders at the moment. I think you will be seeing a lot of them on this site. I was getting tired of seeing Birkenstocks and scuffs all over Pinterest – they have their place, but I wanted a more classic version of this trend and I found it.

This jumper is also a well-worn favourite. It is kind of special to me actually. When I first moved to Auckland I ended up in a job that I hated and quickly quit in favour of being broke and happy. Whilst shopping with one of my besties Edie-Mae, I tried on this jumper and loved it. I put it back on the shelf and reminded myself that unemployment was not a time to be buying clothes. Even perfectly slouchy wheat-coloured jumpers.

When my back was turned, Miss Edie picked up the jumper and bought it for me. I was completely touched by the gesture. Now when I wear it, not only am I smitten with my perfect wheaty jumper, but I’m reminded how lucky I am to have such a kind and generous friend.

Whoever said clothes don’t mean anything….

  1. Thanks for the comment on my blog. I just came to say hi and surprised by a quality of your blog. 🙂

I used to live in Auckland, too. Well, back when I was in college so…long time Auckland was my first visit to a foreign country, and I loved it there! Auckland downtown was just so beautiful.

I love your style, and looking to seeing your next post Katie. 🙂

    1. Hi! No worries, I have been checking out your blog for a while now. There aren’t very many male bloggers so it is nice to see what you are up to and learn a thing or two. But now that I have finally started my site I thought I would come introduce myself. Thanks for stopping by 🙂
